The historical Country Inn Bongsiel resides in an old lockmasterbuilding from 1903. The national park northfrisian Waddensea is close by, a fine area for birdwatching. The complete house and rooms were refurbished in 2002. We dispose of an own smokehouse for eel and a small art gallery with artist from Northern Germany with paintings from Eckner, Nolde, Junghans.

The restaurant "Krug am Deich" exists since 1903 and is family run in the 3rd generation. Our speciality is eel in all versions, everything is home made.

Between the months of October and April, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
