The Neandertal Therme wellness area of the Gut Höhne hotel consists of a 30°-heated bathing pool which incorporates a 35° heated rock seating area, a sauna enclosure with an outside relaxing area, relaxation rooms with solarium, a massage area, a beauty studio and a gym.

You can even experience the feeling of weightlessness in the zero-gravity environment of the “Space-Curl”.

The Bambus-Bistro is also a part of the wellness area, and here you can enjoy healthy, delicious and vitamin-rich cocktails.

The Neandertal Therme wellness area is open between 06:00 and 23:30 and guests are welcome to use its facilities free of charge.

The hotel also boasts 16 attractive conference and banquet halls with open terraces.

Room Information

Wood and hand-crafted stone create the natural design of the delightful rooms, suites and apartments of Hotel Gut Höhne. In fact, much of the furniture was made in the Gut Höhne’s on-site workshop.

Food & Beverage

Of the 3 restaurants, the Gutshofrestaurant serves international cuisine, the Tenne specialises in Mediterranean dishes, and the Bambus Bistro serves light, healthy meals and drinks.

Only high quality, fresh ingredients are used in the kitchens at the Gut Höhne. Breakfast comes guaranteed from happy, free-range chickens, while the large selection of breads is prepared by the hotel’s own bakery.

When it comes to the lunch buffet and dinner menu, you can be sure that the cereals and potatoes are grown in an ecologically friendly environment and the meat and fish are from an established, traceable supply.

All the cuisine here is home-made, with a strict non-convenience food policy.

A large selection of high-quality, loose tea is served with the breakfast buffet and you can enjoy home-made beers and wines in the evenings, normally to the sound of live piano music.
