Waldhotel Heiligenhaus is located in the triangle of the cities of Duesseldorf, Essen and Wuppertal, embedded in the green countryside in between. Since completion of our 'Waldhaus' in September 2003, the hotel now offers 91 rooms, 10 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, 2 foyers for presentations, a wellness area, and a 'Park Restaurant' full of light with a harmoniously integrated winter garden.

Travel Information

Directions from the airport:
Take the S-Bahn (regional train) towards main station /downtown Duesseldorf. At station ‘Derendorf’ change to the S6 towards Essen and get off at station ‘Ratingen-Ost’. Go on as indicated below...

By train:
At the main stations Duesseldorf or Essen take the S6 towards Essen or Duesseldorf respectively up to station ‘Ratingen Hoesel’.

From there take bus no. 771 in direction 'Heiligenhaus' or 'Velbert' and get off at bus stop ‘Abtskuecher Strasse’. Cross the main street and turn right, turn left at next corner, then walk down Parkstrasse for another 500 metres to the hotel.

Or take a taxi from the train station and reach the hotel in 10 minutes.
